As we’ve mentioned before in a previous post, the best indoor office plants are plants that are low maintenance. Unless you decide to purchase artificial plants though, all plants will require some maintenance at some point. To help you, and your San Diego cleaning company care for your office greenery, here are some tips to keep in mind:
1. Be sure to water frequently, but don’t over-water. When it doubt, pay attention to how much water your plant absorbs when you water it. If most of the water ends up collecting in the tray underneath the pot, you are probably over watering.
2. Don’t forget to regularly prune your plants to remove dead leaves and stems. Not only will this help to keep your plant healthy, but it will also keep your plant from turning into a magnet for gnats and other annoying pests.
3. As your plants grow, make sure to transplant them into a larger pot. Otherwise, the plant’s roots will become crushed and your plants will eventually die from lack of oxygen.
Indoor plants can go a long way towards making any space look more inviting, and with a little care and maintenance, your office plants should last for a long time.
